I know what i want and i dont. I want to make a list, but i have lists. I feel like winging it isnt enough but my mind goes blank when i try to be productive. I can do the bare minimum which an improvement from before, but thats all. Winging it yields nothing. How do i sit with my feelings without wallowing? How do i accept without staying this way forever if i am just supposed to wait it out? How long do i wait? I struggle to move and make progress. Its like my brain doesnt want me to act, and even though i know the steps and have planned for making them easier, i freeze and never do it.

Hello @pioneeringOcean8344.

It's ok to not know what you want. At times we all face uncertainty. You are right, it can be good to feel our feelings but we also don't want to get stuck on it forever. I've found that just letting myself feel those feelings without any judgement allows me to feel the true raw nature of those feelings. I never spend more than 30-45 minutes at a time feeling them to ensure I'm not getting caught up in it.

@wonderfulRainbow817 i never understand this kind of advice or comment though... Hoe do you only spend x time thinking of something? How do you control it?

@pioneeringOcean8344, this may sound silly but I sent an alarm on my phone for how long I want to spend on having the feelings with no judgement. When the timer goes off I immediately wrap up my thoughts/feelings and move onto my daily activities

When i have strong anxiety it's the same. I freeze. I can't go shopping, clean the house, make dinner. Can't even do the fun things; games, movies, shows and so on.

I am amazed in you by typing this thread. I do understand the frustration you must feel with all these feelings and questions in your mind. We are all so human and alot of times we tend to get a bit stuck. No one of us are the same, and no one can deal the same with our feelings. If you just need a ear, you are welcome to connect with me. I can not give advice, but I listen compassionately.
Please take care and remember you are not "alone"
