Can someone give me some advice on how to tell a doctor I think I have depression? Sounds silly but I'm really nervous

It doesn't sound silly to me. I like how you came right out and asked the question here, with just enough explanation so it makes sense. I'm wondering if you could do the exactly same when you speak to the doctor.
