im tired of living a lie
I'm so depressed me and my family is homeless and going through it ...I am beginning to hate facebook I have to keep putting up this lie like we aren't struggling hard and I watch everyone else live well ...my husband won't work or help with the kids and our situation he looks to me for a plan or bare necessities..I am reaching my breaking point... We lost our place because I was pregnant with our last child and had to go on bed rest and he didn't pay the rent so we got evicted while I was 9 months pregnant..I am MISERABLE in this marriage and in this situation we have 4 kids and they don't deserve this....it seems like we are constantly struggling ..I work 3 jobs and bring in almost 4,000 a month but can't get a place because of this damn eviction on my record ...I don't care if nobody reads this I just needed to get it out before I lose it
Lovely @tallKiwi5945, you have really a lot of going on in your life. You are overwhelmed and fighting with so many things to keep yourself afloat that it is completely understandable that you feel so exhausted. You don't have enough support and you're doing everything on your own which cannot be easy. You have every right to feel sad and angry and hopeless. Just know that those feelings are valid and you don't have to hide from them. Your situation is hard, but you're strong for not giving in. You are doing as best as you can, wonderful. Despite the world falling apart, you have to take a proper care of yourself. You cannot allow to reach that breaking point. You deserve better.
I strongly encourage you that you chat 1-on-1 with a listener. Talking in a real time with someone can really make a difference for you. We are here for you. You have our support no matter what. Also, have you consider on talking with someone close who can help with your situation? You don't have to fight alone, lovely.
How are you feeling today, if I may ask? Wish you all the best. Please take a good care of yourself.
*hugs tightly*
@Celaeno thank u so much ...we have applied for county assistance and they have told me they have a rehousing program for working families so I'm hoping for the best
@tallKiwi5945, that sounds amazing! I'm so glad that you will receive an assistance. Please keep us posted. I really wish the best for you ❤️
Just going to jump in here and say I understand about hating Facebook. People often do portray their lives in a way that makes it look like they are living perfectly - but sometimes (maybe even most of the time) it is simply a portrayal. Celaeno covered the rest of what I would have said - I'm here for 1-on-1 chat too if you'd ever like someone to vent to. It seems like you are doing all you can for your family. I wish I could help more than just by listening but it also sounds like you realize how therapeutic venting can be. I am sending my hugs as well!
@CompassionateGirl90, your message is lovely (and your username is really apt ^^). I'm on the same page with you on Facebook - almost everyone tries to construct a better persona for themselves which is obviously only partially true. It's fake, but the feelings it evokes are as real as painful.
@Celaeno Thank you! I completely agree with you. I've had to take a step back from Facebook - I hate being fake and I guess with how everyone else treats it, it's better to say nothing at all than to post something real.
And hi! Nice to meet you btw, and thank you for your thoughts on my latest feed post. <3
