other people are happy
but not me, ive never been happy, never had any friends before, always been miserable, my life was over before it started
so sick of this
This has always been something I struggle to find the answers to. Happiness. It comes in so many levels and sometimes it only lasts for only a moment. Friends I thought I had, all ended up leaving me through abandonment and betrayal. I've been searching for answers for many years, and although I still struggle with the search. I've also been trying comfort myself, telling myself that happiness is just one of the many feelings one person has. It may be a pleasant feeling, but there may not be a time in a person's life where Happiness lasts forever. I've come to learn that since there are many levels of happiness, a person you see that looks happy, may not be their true self. With depression, I've learned that many of us tend to put on a different facial expression (or even personality), when we're in the public (at work, school, or any place with other people). As I continue on my search of what true happiness is, I've started to try and think more positively. Although that in itself is difficult with depression as the base, but I'd like to think I'm gradually making progress. There may be setbacks, I might fall back several steps, but as long as my search is continuous and the end of my destination is to find some sort of happiness in life, I hope I'm going in the right direction.
So, don't feel to upset about this. Others' happiness may also be what they use to hide their true feelings, while, I'm sure there are people who are really happy during certain times of their lives. I think we need to learn to find happiness in all aspects of life~
