except me. no one has ever showed romantic interest in me. no one shows interest in me when i go out. i don’t have a single story of someone trying to hit on me. no one has ever flirted with me. no one has ever held my hand. i don’t even see myself as a human at this point, i’m a subhuman freak. i’m in my mid 20s and this is embarrassing. anyone who is like me should just give up. if you have no romantic prospects by this point then life is not worth living in any capacity. all i want is a *** hug but i don’t deserve to have that. freaks like me deserve absolutely nothing except to get mercilessly beaten up for being allowed to live. my presence on this earth is a waste of time and resources because i will never have anybody. only normal people get to have other people

i wish someone would finish it off and beat me to death

im also smack dab mid 20s and so single it hurts. And very much would like to stop existing too. I don’t think you’re a waste of space or resources or anything like that though just because no one has expressly told you they’re romantically interested, we have a lot of worth that isn’t attached to having a partner.

Hearing you talk about yourself like this is heartbreaking. You’re worth isn’t determined on wether or not you’ve had a love connection with someone or held someone’s hand or have been hit on before. You have a mind which the most powerful thing. Put your mind to work and test your self and see how successful you will get outside of all that hookup culture, dating culture. You don’t need it. We don’t need it. Let other people live their lives while you live yours. And make it a life worth living. Do things for you. Move to the mountains. Live in a tourist town. Become you’re own lover.

You really aren't a freak. Everyone has a different timeline. I didn't date or have anyone show any interest in me until well into my 20s. I have been married to that man for 25 years now. @versatileOwl4907

I will start off by saying im really sorry you feel that way. No one is a freak, and i mean that, no one, I am a 15 year old gay boy who struggles with home life on a day to day basis because my parents say that Im a freak or an abomination. There are many reasons to be classified as a "freak" of todays society. Personally i do not think you are a freak because you cannot find romantic love out in the world. It is okay to not experience those things, as a matter of fact its normal. What i always get told is to make something good out of something bad. For instance seek in loving yourself before considering to love another human being, and it starts with self confidence (: I believe everyone has the ability to love themselves it takes time and effort though, and i mean ALOT. Make healthy bonds and connections with people (friendships) and lead of that, friendships in my opinion is a great way to start out with self confidence. Once you find warmth in other POSITIVE people, the warmth in yourself will come slowly and slowly.
