Hi everyone, I am a teenage girl with family members who have hurt me in several ways and I don't know what to do about it. My dad is fine with me but my 2 sisters and my mum hate me (that's what I feel like).

This has been going on for more than a year but my mum has always impaired me to my 2 sisters.

'They read so many books. They have a bright future. What about you? You will never get a job nor will you have a friends in life. Go be a garbage girl. Youre so low all the time and you have nothing to do in ur life apart from eating and sleeping'. So I guess you realize that I don't read as many books as my sisters do but I really do try. When I tell her that I'm starting a new book she always says something mean like 'you'll never finish this book even in a year. Your sisters can do this in 5 mins' and it really pisses me off and makes me cry myself to sleep.

Then recently, starting this year, my family has made fun of my appearance. I'm a little chubby and I admit that but all they do is tease me, bully me, calling me fat and ugly and saying noone likes me, calling me stinky all the time. They also say I have the fattest nose they've ever seen and it really does hurt. I've never actually told them about it before but once I've cried when they told me that but I pretended I was yawning. I went to the bathroom to wipe off the tears and pretend r evrything is fine. I go back in the room and they see my eyes r big from crying and all they can say is 'Youre eyes are like that because u sleep too muvh', that incident has hurt me the most and brought me to notice that they hate me

I've told one of my closest friend about this and she said to tell them. I don't want to tell them. They'll call me weak and tell me to go away.

I really need help

Are you able to share how you feel with your father? Maybe he can help with changes of how your mother and sisters treat you, to have someone else on your side. Are you the youngest of your sisters?

I know people who had to deal with a similar situation with their family members, but they were at an older age, where they ended up moving out with a friend, away from their toxic family. In your case, I would try telling them how they are making you feel, that what they say to you is making you feel very hurt. Maybe after telling them, standing up for yourself, they won't see you as someone who is weak. Right now, to them, you may seem like an easy target to tease because you're not fighting back. This might be difficult for you, to show your vulnerable side to people who always make fun of you. Talk to your father, see if he can help you and be your support for when you stand up for yourself~
