Coping with thoughts of self hatred

I’ve always had issues with self hatred and felt like something is fundamentally wrong with me, but when i try to get to the root of it I realize there isn’t really a rational reason. Despite knowing there is not necessarily a valid reason I still think of myself as a terrible, flawed person in the back of my mind. Does anyone have advice for coping with these sort of feelings when they come up?

@akliis
Hi there,
Well i understand how u feel. Sometimes there isnt a particular reason of why you feel a certain way(abt others or yourself) but dont worry, things will get better. If you think you need help, then ask for it. Talk to someone about this maybe. And dont think of yourself this way, everyone is different. And no one is 'bad' or 'good'. We are all a mix of both. Ik learning to love yourself takes time, but ik you'll get there^^
You can go to a psychologist if u feel you cant figure this out yourself(its okay, even i cant figure some things out by myself. Its good to have a better understanding of what you feel and why you feel a certain way right?)
I would suggest visiting a psychologist as they help u understand yourself and tell u certain changes u can make in your lifestyle to feel better. Whereas a psychiatrist will put u under medications(which i dont feel are required for your issue rn, but its your choice in the end)
DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ABOUT THINGS, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM TOO SERIOUSLY
i hope i could help u a little
have a great day/night!!

@akliis
There is always a reason, you are just avoiding it, no offence, would like to know what you feel the reason is, when you find it, of course it will be...

ive done this to help personally:

write down a list of things you like about yourself. it could be things you’ve accomplished, physical attributes, personality attributes, the way you fit into the world, anything!

tape it to a mirror you look into everyday:)
