Losing interest in the world around me. Suddenly all that fills my head is negative thoughts and mean self-talk. I completely lose the will to do any of my hobbies, don't care what's going on or what people I know are up to, lose my curiosity and motivation to do things or learn anything. Its almost like my depressed brain stops me doing fun things so I'll stay down for longer

The way it sucks you back in, like quicksand.

Being you... trying to live just because the person you love would be sad.
But the worst part: the thinking, it s you against your own mind and you have no control over it, you just accept the situation and let all the dark thoughts come to you like a tsunami, eating you from the inside

When you can't do even minor things that involve going out in public and be seen by people. I would go to the supermarket and as soon as I reached the parking station I couldn't breathe so I returned home. To my shelter. Locked in my room.
