@navyDrum2816

Thats the worst feeling! You try to explain it to others but it's hard explaining what your truly feeling and so they won't truly understand and then get onto for it.

When you realize that whatever the situation, your first reaction and feeling is always negative~

That I can't shake it off no matter what I do. It stays there and I'm not sure if I'm mad anymore cause it's the only thing that has ever stayed with me.

@ItsZaylee

Knowing that you need to get up and remain a productive member of society, but being unable to move from your bed. Watching the people you love fade from your life (through no fault of their own) as you slip deeper into a rather vegetative state of hopelessness. Distancing yourself from social interactions to avoid having a negative impact on the gathering, leaving you empty as hell. Watching your physical appearance diminish day after day until you no longer recognize yourself. Straying away from your morales and becoming a person you now despise.

But the worst part?

Coming to the consensus that there is only thing left for you to do that would shatter the worlds of the few people you have left.

That's depression.

@xxdee03

You keep living for them, but inside you feel what would be called yourself fading away until the inside feels just as the outside looks. Realizing it doesnt help, so you try to ignore it but you're still aware of it and it eats away at you bit by bit

There hits a point with depression where it feels better to be depressed than just living normally. Which makes you just want to give into it fully and find just the most disgusting freedom in the suffering. And it's very tantalizing when you keep trying super hard to get yourself out of it and then fail.

when you ask for help and are told you're playing the victim card.

so, for me asking for help was the hardest part of depression.

Never knowing what it would be like to not experience depression as a part of who I am.

@Lolowise475 I get how you feel completely. I feel like that every day. One thing I find helpful to remember is that the past is the past and I can’t change it. I am only move forward. I am trying to take this time as an opportunity to create myself into a person I would love to be, since I lost who I was before.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life❤️

For me, the hardest part of depression is my tendency to withdraw. It only makes things worse.
But I just don't have the energy and am afraid of being a drag.
I worry that other family members will judge me for not contacting them more but then tell myself, oh well.

I just do the best I can.
