Helping my wife with depression

This is tricky as depression is not a one size  fits all thing.   from my experience trying too hard can make them feel pressured and always angered me etc. Waiting for the depressed person's lead may not work either as i felt left to deal with myself. Finding balance is needed and only can be done with talking and really listening to her.  

Talking or writing her that you want to help and if given some direction or suggestions you can help
