Manic episode?
I'm not sure if this is even the right forum to post this in, but that's ok.
The past, idk, 2-3 weeks I've been just generally very depressed. It just kept getting worse and worse to the point where this past Saturday I had slept on and off all day until about 4:30/5:00 in the afternoon. I had never done anything like that before and it was very worrisome, but I didn't know what to do about it.
Later that night I went with some friends to the bar and had lots of fun and talked to one of my best friends that I hadn't seen in a very long time. I ended up staying the night at one of my friend's houses, then another friend that was driving home gave me a lift the next morning. He and I had always gotten along since we met in a Facebook page for incoming freshman at my college about 6-7 years ago, but we had never really hung out just the two of us, so it was nice to get to talk to him a bit. I got home and just felt really good about things; I contributed it to a sort of social high that I just hadn't come down from yet.
I got home around 10:30-11:00 yesterday morning, then I proceeded to spend the next 9-ish hours cleaning my house. I don't remember the last time I cleaned, but I REALLY cleaned yesterday. I started with sweeping all of the rooms in my house, then I mopped, then I still had the energy for everything else that I did the rest of the day. I didn't get to absolutely everything, but I got SO MUCH done. I was waiting all day for my motivation to just crash, but it honestly never did. I did take a break for lunch around 1:00 and watched about 3 episodes of a show, but then I just went right back into cleaning and organizing. By the end of the day I was exhausted and rewarded myself with one of my favorite movies. However, even with as exhausted as I was, I actually had to force myself to stop cleaning/organizing and to go sit down. I think I spent at least about an hour or so still cleaning after I said I was going to be done the first time.
While I'm immensely happy that I got so much done and I can walk through my house without feeling guilt and little pieces of dirt on my feet and lots of other things, I'm a little wary about what exactly it was that prompted all of that. I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and possibly ADHD, but I'm wondering if that was a sort of manic episode that I had (or still am in)? Not that I feel bad or anything (although I'm actually very tired today), but I've kind of just been waiting for The Crash and I want to avoid it as much as possible.
Is mania a sort of symptom of any of these (depression, anxiety, ADHD) that anybody has experienced? Is it really a negative thing necessarily? If it's a good thing, how can I keep from crashing? If it's a bad thing, what can I do about it?
Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Mania feels great, I'm told. It is not necessarily a bad thing, because you get so much done
There are two risks, they say. One is, as you mention, when you crash you might feel really bad. Some people get treatment just to avoid those periods of feeling down.
The other risk is if you get so manic that you do stupid things. That doesn't seem to have happened to you, but some people get treatment so they don't put themselves in danger when they're manic.
