Physically sick and depression
Could you elaborate a little? Do you mean that you are depressed as a physical side effect of an illness, depressed about the idea of physical illness, something else entirely?
Hello,I think it all comes down to stress,I'm going through the same type of feelings, mental stress can fester inside you causing you to become depressed and sick,if I were to address this to my bf he would have a fit and not believe me. But telling him is something that must be done,if not I'll remove myself from all the negativity. :(
Physically depressed in the sense of as I age and my epilepsy is now more active and alive than I've ever seen. It's depressing knowing I need take medicine for the rest of my life, its depressing I can't do simple things like taking a bath, cooking, go to the pool, etc unless I'm being monitored I hate it. I hate having to rely on others because it's not known when the seizure will occur and if I'll be safe. It scares me so much. I'm literally afraid because of this damn illness plus I have asthma which too also I find depressing
That does sound incredibly scary and difficult to live with :( My guess is that your best bet for dealing with the depression aspect of the situation will be a combination of finding out what measures you can take to gain back as much autonomy as possible, and coming to accept the rest, possibly by talking to others with chronic illnesses that interfere with day-to-day functioning. I hope things improve for you!
