Should I stay in the hospital for a couple of days?

In my most recent visit to my doctor she asked me if I wanted to stay hospitalized for a couple of days after I admitted I still have feelings about being a bad person, a burden to my family and thoughts of harming myself. I told her I didn't want to, but I'm not really sure. What do you think?

@passionateChestnut9500I am so sorry to hear of this. It is always best to listen to direct medical advice as they have the experience and expertise. Some people feel that by getting extra professional support that they can start to process alongside professional opinions. Whatever makes you most comfortable.
