On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst, where would you rank your depression?

What is one thing you can do today to find some joy? Even if it is just for a moment?

Tonight i'm having that foggy lethargic feeling again. It's a weird feeling. It's like I dont know whether I wanna take a walk, take a hot bath or just curl up with the covers over my head, but there is a lump in my throat and I cant stop thinking about how much of a waste of oxygen I am. I had planned to be productive today, but once again I hid from it, I hid from my future. Perhaps i'm just not built for the pressures of life.

Probably a 7.. I don't know why exactly but it may have to do with my parents finding out about my self harm two days ago and now they're being really protective and won't really leave me alone. I just want to curl up into a ball and cry until I fall alseep.

7. Worse that yesterday but the person I need to talk to seems to have some personal issues as well. 🌱 This will pass.

9/10. Today my social studies class participated in a seminar about the Holocaust. A survivor's child came in to lead the discussion, and got so in depth that it felt like I had experienced the hell that was the wrath of the Nazis. All of that terrifies me, and there was no option to not participate in the seminar, so I had to sit there and deal with the horror it brought me.

I am just stuck with the feelings of loneliness. I had set an appointment with the psychiatrist and a week ago, maybe more, I can never keep track of days... but I think I should give antidepressants a try. Things just are too hard for me. I can't cope. I can't do anything, really. Everyone just keeps asking me, you have a job lined up for after you graduate yet? LEAVE ME ALONE.

I'm such a lazy soidfhlkgjlxdgh

I get so aggravated when I text my friends, and they don't text back. I only have 1 and maybe half, because I really don't feel she wants to talk to me.

Medication helped me a lot! It is definitely a valid option to look into, and nothing to be ashamed or scared of. Im sorry youre struggling, I hope that whatever plan you and your psychiatrist come up with for you, whether is includes medication or not, is helpful!

10. Will try to sleep on it first. Things happened. My fault I guess. Seeked help but the help turn their back. Definitely selfish of me to even seek in the 1st place. This will pass. 🌼🌼🌼 Hope my session tomorrow will make it better. 🦋
