Workday Blahs
@Mellietronx Sometimes I try to take a little break and do something that cheers me up. Also I try to listen to music for a bit songs that will help brighten my mood, otherwise I just trudge alone and remember that the day will soon enough be over and then become just a dot of the past.
Hey, first of all hang in there! Every day only has 24hrs, no more and no less.
And one trick I use when getting the workday blues is focusing on doing one task at a time. Multitasking always gets me overwhelmed, but if I immerse myself in the compeltion of one thing, then time kinda seems to go by quicker and I'm not as stressed.
Anyway, I hope it help <3
I tell myself that I kNow I'll feel much better after doing a day of work compared to sitting around all day, which is bery true for me!
What I usually do is focus on the work that's the easiest so I can at least have something to distract myself with + something to give me a feeling of contentedness and reward. That gives me more motivation to do more work and even if it doesn't, it'll keep my thoughts from going all over the place.
@Mellietronx What helps me through work is finding little things to be happy about. I'm not sure where you work, but sometimes talking to coworkers or customers can be surprisingly pleasant!
I like to plan a small reward for myself, just for completing the task that I most do not want to do. I don't look forward to the task itself, but thinking of my future reward gives me a little pep in my step, a little energy, and I seem to breeze through the task at hand.
@KingdomWorker do you have any examples of rewards you give yourself?
