@imsorryitry Hope, I'm sorry to hear you are going through such a rough time, but at the same time, I'm happy to hear that there's a part of you that's still fighting. I'm happy that you chose to stay alive heart

This is definitely something you should talk to your therapist about. They can't help the best they can if you're not opening up or giving them the whole story. They aren't there to judge you, but to be by your side through anything. If you're worried about your parents finding out, then that's something you can talk to your therapist about too. Let them know that your parents aren't supportive and often blame you, and anything you're worried about happening if your dad finds out. And together you can work out the best plan of action.

I know your parents don't have a very good understanding of what you're going through, but I'm sure they would rather know. It's better to know when someone is struggling, than to suddenly lose them one day. Maybe you could ask your therapist if family-therapy would help out your situation at home?

As for your self-harm, I know this is something that you're struggling with, in that sometimes it's a comfort, and sometimes it's a burden. I hope that you can seek out more support for this, to try out different coping methods and beat this addictive behaviour. Because, I know, it's hard to stop and sometimes you don't even want to. But it's always always best to. It's weird how great you feel when you're no longer a slave to those urges, where you can love your body as it is, and as it heals, rather than needing those lines and scars. It's not fun to have scars, they really suck, and if you have a chance to reduce the amount you have, you should go for it! I know that sometimes, our brains do weird things and actually 'like' the scars, but that's not your best brain, that's not your best thoughts. And when you do feel better, your perception changes, and if you can try your best to fight against self-harm, your future self will thank you so much heart

It's a hard battle but you're fighting it, and it may not feel like it, but you're winning! You're here, you're stronger than depression and self-harm, and your future is bright with opportunity heart Stay safe, Hope, we're all rooting for you

@imsorryitry Please don't, talk to a counselor, please don't hurt yourself, people love you and we care for you, one life taken away is one too many, I know how you feel and I understand your pain, so please fight it and don't hurt yourself.
