what should i do?
hello. i have some problems with myself. i was always opptimistic and had hope that everything will be alright. but for the last three months i have been through a lot in my life, i was isolated from friends from other people, i was at home for two months taking care of two people at once, i am not mad or somthing this was the best i could do for those people because i love them, but while i was taking care of the i complatly lost myself and nowdays i have no motivation, i do not enjoy thing i did in past, i lost my appetite, i loved eating and now i force myself to eat once in a day because i do not want to collapse, i am not ever hungry when i eat. i always want to be alone, i dont want to study or go to universiry, my grades are terrible and the worst is that i understand all this but cant bring myself to stand on my feet and do somthing. and with other people i am always on the wdge, every little thing makes me angry and very agressive towards them and it realy hurts me that i cant control my emotions. even if i smile and have fun with friends i am not really happy i just pretend. i try to talk with my close friends about this but i am afraid of feeling missunderstood and i am very familliar woth this feeling and really dont want ro experiens this right now. i dont know what to do and i am really scared that this condicion would go even deeper and i dont want that. i would like to hear some thoughts from you about all this if that would be possible. thank you from listening.
Digging yourself out of a depressive state is like trying to dig out of a grave. It sucks and it seems like the light will never shine again. But I encourage you to find that optimistic spirit again. One thing to be optimistic about is that you know what you should do. You should be more kind to your friends, you need to improve your grades, etc. Knowing is half the battle and now you just need to put the plan in action. I know it's a hell of a lot easier said than done, but you're a lot closer to breaking the surface (of the metaphorical grave) than you think.
Becoming worse is an infinitely deep, dark hole. It's important to know that it's there, but you'll be sucked in just by peering into it. And no matter how bad your circumstances are; it could always be worse. So it doesn't help your situation to think about how much worse the state of you could become. You can acknowledge it could happen, but only if you let it.
Be thankful and mindful for what/who you do have in your life and don't take it for granted. Keep on keeping on.
Best wishes, Cain
