I’m loosing it (trigger warning)
Hey! I’ve been really depressed for a long time now. Yesterday I wrote my ex boyfriend a letter. I cheated on him and now he’s really hurt. I wanted to let him now that what happened was my mistake. I did it with this boy whom I’ve been in love with for 2years. We took molly that night. He’s an addict, I am too. We used to to molly together, then he broke my heart. I was in this new relationship, trying to be a better version of myself, trying to be what I was before drugs. Turned out I was still an addict for the drugs and the company. Now everyone at my old friend group calls me names. They make fun of my addiction. This one girl said ”sorry I can’t talk to you at school because others would see”. As if I wanted to talk to a girl so fake. Like literally WHAT I did this huge mistake and I already feel so bad about it, it’s not like everyone has to bully me tho. I consider myself as someone who tries their best to be better and good for everyone. I own up yo my mistakes and learn from them. Although I am strong and all, these little this are breaking me apart. A few fays ago this one guy who’s 6 years older than me kissed me and I feel disgusted. I didn’t want him to touch me, I should’ve done something to show that. I’m also struggling with the addiction still. And during these times when I feel like I’m the only one I can be with, doing drugs doesn’t sound so bad. Thanks for the person who used their time to read this. I hope you’re doing well.

hey!
it sounds like you're going through a rough patch right now, and i am so proud of you for reaching out, and sharing your story! it takes a lot of courage and strength and i'm very glad you're trying to put yourself out here because i know it's not easy.
i don't have much experience with addiction, but i do know that the first step to recovery is recognizing the fact that you're addicted to something (molly).
i'm sorry to hear about the situation with your ex boyfriend and i can understand how the whole situation may be impacting you negatively. of course, it's something that could have been avoided, however, it's more important to accept what has happened and to try to heal from it.
it's disheartening to know that your friends are calling you names and that people don't really want to talk to you. you might disagree, but i think it's for the best. if your friends aren't seeing your side of the situation, you probably deserve better friends. in any case, name-calling is not a solution to anything. it's a horrible thing to do.
about what happened with the older guy, i'm not sure if you're a minor and he's an adult or something or if he's just six years older to you. but the point is, it's okay for you to feel the way you do. it's natural. maybe you didn't do anything to show him that you didn't want him to touch you, but it's definitely something you can learn from to prevent things like these in the future. it will take some time to heal from, but it's not impossibly. my heart goes out to you <3
i know that drugs might seem like something you can do since you're alone, because you're still a little? addicted. but think about it. you could do drugs. but you could also not. it's your choice at the end of the day, and nobody will be impacted by it the most, other than you. nobody can make you choose one or the other. it's entirely your decision, and the decision to get better, to heal, to grow, can only be made when you want to do what's in your best interest and let yourself know that it's okay. it's okay if you've made mistakes. you're still here. you still have a chance. it's your life. you're the one running it. it will be difficult, but where would any of us be if we weren't challenged by life at some point in time or another?
focus on yourself. prioritize yourself. ask yourself what you need to get better. what makes you happy? how can you be a better version of yourself? if your addiction is concerning you, there are ways to work on that, too. you can talk to a counsellor, or talk to other addicts and here about how they recovered.
it's not impossible, and i know you can do it. stay strong <3
.
Thanks a lot for using your time<3 Thid made me feel a bit better.
