Hi @Yacchan1314

Is that means you're experiencing emptiness? Have you talked about this with your therapist to be sure if it's a sign of progress expected?

I felt this way on sertraline. At first it was nice to feel nothing, but as time went on and the medication built up in my system i could barely get out of bed. As a result, my doctor weened me off of it. I recently started wellbutrin though, and that seems to work for me much better. I have read that with wellbutrin you dont feel empty and can still cry. It's helped me a lot already with depressive circular thinking, but i still have energy and can feel my emotions. I know sertraline works really well for a lot of people though, and a dear friend of mine really didnt like wellbutrin... it's very interesting how medications can affect people so differently. Perhaps wellbutrin would work well for you?

@greenShade7591

Just had to say to you it is very true medication is trial and error. I tried both neither of which worked so here we are on different meds. It is truly interesting and very complex how some medications work for some people and not others. Hope you are doing okay.
