It can be overwhelming for sure, and fear of the unknown.

But what matters, most, is taking it one day at a time, finding a job doing something that makes you happy, and you are passionate about.

Not overthinking things.

And trust me, there are many wonderful sides to being an adult too 💚🤗

Hii! Being an adult can definitely come with scary parts, like having to WORK and pay bills. But there are some great things too. Like no one can truly tell you what to do except well your boss lol. But once you are off the clock, you are free to do anything with your day. Want to go to the movies? Okay, go to the movies. Want ice cream at 8am? Eat that ice cream!  Want to buy something? Buy that thing because you have adult money! The good outweighs the scary part of an adult. And some people enjoy working when they find a job that matches their personality and their goals in life. 

I know that you are scared right now. I think it is normal to be scared about aging up. It is important to not rush the growing up process if you can help it. Lean on family and friends during this time. Talk to your teachers, make sure to meet with the school counselor for advice. Read up about colleges, if you want to go that route. Be okay with taking time to figure out who you are.

And remember just because you become an adult, does not mean you have to know everything right away or at all. You can always ask someone for help, you can always lean on your parents for however long you have them. You can lean on your friends.
