TW: greif and dealing w/ ageregression due to greif
Hello fellow cups users who see this for a bit of background we have some friends who are like family to me and their grandfather aka "grandpa joe" had passes monday jan 22 i found out the next day he was in pain the last 6 months of his life he passed in his sleep and the last thing i said to him is "i love you can't wait to see you next time!" that was in october.. little did i know i wouldn't see him again his momoral is this weekend on saturday. as i am writing this im crying but that's fine i guess.. theres a song called "in the stars" and its kinda how i feel i am christian but i am not a person who is like "this that all that" type thing but when he says "now your in the stars and 6ft has never felt so far" and "oh im still holding on to everything thats dead and gone but now im in between heaven and the ambers" i am wanting to hold on to him even tho he's been gone for a week now i just feel like i can't let go it hurts so much im still getting over the death of one of my cats and family members the cat was 1 year ago the family member was 9/2 years ago (im 16 he passed when i was 7) and all of this has triggerd my age regression to be stronger its a traumatic response to things that have happened to me as a baby witch i will not mention but im mentally 5 to 7 years old as in mental age theres a whole study on mental vs actual age but when i regress i go non-virbal and cant really speak if i do i sound like a scared little kid plus i've been disorientation so much its just uncomfortable i feel like im not me if that makes any since at all my boyfriend has been there for me and im glad he has but i feel like im a bag of unwanted emotions right now and i don't feel like Noah i feel like im a blob fish (best thing i can compare to my feelings) sorry for such a long post but i needed to get this off my chest <3 take care everyone
I'm really sorry to hear about Grandpa Joe. It's never easy to lose someone we love so much. It sounds like you had a really special bond with him, and it must be hard knowing you won't see him again. Grief can be tough, and it's totally okay to let yourself feel and show your emotions. Lean on your loved ones, like your boyfriend, for support during this tough time. Just remember, you're not alone in your feelings, and it's important to take care of yourself. If listening to "In the Stars" helps you process everything, go for it and let it help you heal. You're definitely not just a "bag of unwanted emotions." You're a human going through a natural response to loss. Take care of yourself, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need someone to talk to

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It sounds like grief is really hard for you and that is okay. What kinds of things do you do for yourself when you are grieving someone? Are you eating and sleeping okay? Sending peace. @NoahAnimates

age regression is scary, it's only happened to me once for a few hours but it's definitely really hard to talk about and it's awesome you're sharing and you have a support person
losing people is obviously hard and emotions are hard and everything is hard sometimes but when grieving, sometimes you just have to sit in the emotions for a little bit and allow yourself to feel them as you are
idk if that made sense or if you're already doing that but I hope you have a wonderful day :) thank you for being here
