Hi everyone, my name is muffin. I have a best friend struggling with depression due to grief of two of her closest friends from childhood days who died due to suicide. I'm trying my best to suppoert her and others are but it seems to be getting worse and I'm scared what's about to happen if she doesn't get real help.

I feel for you as it is scary to try hard to help someone who does not or will not help themselves ......

people try various methods tough love/ or just happy agreeing with everything the depressed person says.... both do not always work ......

Is there anyone else that could help? .... family / friends etc. perhaps they do not see the crisis you have seen and opening their eyes to it build more support for your friend.

Hey. I’m so sorry your dealing with that. When smo close to you is hurting it’s rlly hard. Please try to look after yourself.

If it’s safe for u u would say talk to an adult about it that ur friend trusts and hopefully they can support her in ways you cannot. I hope it gets better. Sending love ❤️

What do you think real help should look like? Is she in contact with any doctors about it?@PurpleStrawberriz

I can tell how awful and helpless you must be feeling. I also cant stand it when I see someone who is basically yelling for help and I don't have the ability to help. I also wondered what "real help" would look like to you. Do you mean a professional therapist or psychiatrist? Do you feel comfortable sharing your feelings with a trusted adult, maybe one who knows her also?

Bless you!~ I agree with @toughtiger648 maybe confide in her family or close friends to just say she may need a friend about now because she is struggling with the loss of friends via suicide. When my 16 year old daughter took her own life I was numb and deeply manically depressed and had thoughts like that but a few words from a person here and another few words from another friend adds up and helps. The thing I think is important is: when I learned about presidents and movie stars and young or old - These awful tragedies are on others, they lost family members, close friends, moms, dads, and more horror which proves you are not alone and neither is she. I'm sending strength and friendship.

Blessings, Day
