Confused….
Hey everyone! I really could use some help and understanding right now. One day, I woke up with a horrible feeling. It was constant thought that I did not love my boyfriend. I knew good and well, I loved my boyfriend. But I couldn’t get it out of my head. I began to get very anxious about it. And I felt like I was going crazy. This has never happened to me. All of sudden, I was crying every single day, I’m not wanting to hangout with friends (even though I force myself), and I just felt sad. I found myself over examining my boyfriend and every time I did it, I felt more sad. Now, I was drinking water everyday, and doing exercise for like 3 weeks before all of this happened. When I stopped, I’m now getting depression symptoms. Has this happened to anyone before? If so, how did it stop???

Hi Jamacts! I hope you are doing well!
I've struggled with something like this before! Did they feel like intrusive thoughts? I struggle with OCD and this sounds like a subset of OCD, called ROCD or relationship OCD. I'm not sure if you struggle with OCD or not, and please understand that I am not a medical professional, but I have felt very similar to you. I also experienced not wanting to go out with friends as well and depression symptoms too. I want you to know that this won't last forever and please don't hesitate to reach out to a doctor or a therapist if you are still struggling with this! I have attached some resources below that may help!
