As for my interests, there are many, actually. I like to draw and craft, I like music of all kinds, I like video games (although I am more of a casual gamer) and I like to learn new things!

My name is Nancy. I've been struggling with my hobby, but it is online creative writing. It varies from chat rooms and forums. I don't always have time for chat rooms, so I try to stick to forums. Hi! I'm Cinna but I go by a lot of names. I'm 23, I'm depressive and have a lot of anxiety issues and a bunch of others, But I'm around a lot and very talkative. I went through a lot and for a long time I could have been an amazing listener but these days I'm struggling just to balance my own problems. I'm often very lonely and facing a lot of sadness down the road and I wish I had more friends to bounce my little bits of enthusiasm off of. My best friend lives a country away and these days he can't find much time for me. I'm grieving a pretty bad year.

hey! Im a 19 year old that lives in New Zealand, and I often find myself feeling alone & depressed so I joined this app. I live in a relatively small city where nothing much happens (all there is to do is go out for food or coffee, see a movie or go shopping) , 99% of the people I once were friends with fucked me over, and Im living back at my parents house which makes me feel even worse. but Ive decided to make some changes and to move cities to study makeup artistry and to make a new life. im scared ill bail and get stuck here in this shithole city, but thats always a possibility. any way, on a brighter note. Im a big music fan like most on here (bowie is my fave tho), a movie buff (right now I would say my favourite film is inglorious basterds but it changes biweekly), like tattoos but only have four because Im broke haha, also I fully relate to Bridget Jones in the sense that I will be single forever and cant help but love to smoke and drink, and cry watching when harry met sally at three am. Im just starting to get the hang of this app but if anyone wants to chat please do go for it (: I love this thread because its so interesting to read about other people

I'm 19 and my name is Sophia. I live in England and work full time at a restaurant. I grew up with family, mum was a drug addict and left home at 13 because my brother was molesting me in my sleep. I moved in with my ex who was abusive and wouldn't allow me to have friends or leave the house. I now live in my own apartment in the city, I work to distract myself from loneliness. I hate going to bed at night because im reminded that tomorrow will be the same as yesterday. I spent the past year since breaking with my ex travelling around for new jobs to try and find a life that will make me happier, but my loneliness and depression followed. I haven't had a friend in years. I have no family or friends and I have nobody to support me or anybody to even have a chat with. My loneliness is killing me. I've tried my hardest to make friends but I haven't made one. I have no close or distant family to talk to. I'm hopelessly alone and I'm worried it will always be that way. I worried I will have to accept being alone despite me being a social person, is this all life is?

What I look for in a friend is someone that is willing to be there for you rise and fall. Also be willing to stick up for you if anything happens.

Please don't feel your on your own . This is a common problem and I can totally relate. I have been there trying to make friends and be myself but hasn't worked. I even tried to better myself or just start to accept and believe it's me and no one wants me .

I can say all of that has been my real life story and experience . Everything I said is true with know doubting myself that its me. Only when I ask others they say it isn't but how am I suppose to believe that .

The only way I think that can help you make friends is by going out meeting people doing the old fashion way. I know that's easy said then done but I think it's the only way where you can only know if and what it maybe that's stopping you making friends.

I am also an introvert but since I've been meeting new people not all are the same and there are people who care and that are nice. I know your thinking wait they arnt but I'm one of the most honest people and I wouldn't lie at all about this who is that person going through what your going through.

The most common thing is that people find that starting a conversation is hardest. Therefore if it's not knowing what to say to someone or how to get the conversation going then there is advice and support out there like the internet, meeting those who are going through same in person, tv, workshops and meet up groups. There is help out there .

I hope you can find it and get to where you wanna be but your not alone. Think what you want and when you want it to happen.
