Grief is hurting my life and me before my eyes

I'm trying my best to deal with a family members death for a little over a year. I get angry over the little things at work and my relationship with my bf.

@HopefulBlackberry97 My deepest condolenses. Grieving is normal, allow youself to grief. Don't worry about what others think, feel your feelings, you're entitled to do it. Please, don't be so hard on yourself. Things will get better, take it day by day. Try to find solace, at your pace, but do it for yourself, not for the sake of others. Anyone who loves who would offer you their shoulder and accept your pain. You are aching, you need attention and not being preocupied over what others think (even you partner). "A heart that hurts is a heart that works". But, if you are having a really though time and think you don't have support or cannot deal with it on your own, see a doctor. Grief is not depression, though meds and therapy can help. Perhaps, group therapy. I lost my best friend/ brother/ son two days ago after a long journey of pain and tears and dispair. I miss him so much I could explode. I feel miserable, numb, words can't express... I understand how you must feel. But, remember, this life may be a passage and no one can't take away from you all the good memories, what you guys lived and had. You will see each other again, someday, in heaven. Have faith. Life's a strange, cruel place; nature is cruel; death shouln't exist :(... indeed. Sending you a tight hug. Better days will come. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Love, Cake heart
