Hope I'm doing this right
Hello my name is Jade and I'm new to 7cups....
bit about me.
I'm 29 and have been struggling with depression since... what feels like forever, I'm not exactly sure when it started but it's hard to cope with most days, it affects my life constantly and I don't live around my family (my parents) I only have my husband's family and they aren't much help, I do see a professional however it doesn't seem like enough like maybe she doesn't understand enough?
Sorry I'm rambling here but you get the point

Hi Jade,
You did great! Welcome to 7cups! I can relate to what you're saying because i suffer badly and just getting my regular chores done is a real chore. Nobody seems to notice, and when i explain it as best as i can you can tell they dont really see it at all, so nobody takes it seriously except me. I didnt start to feel better until about the 4 or 5 weeks after starting cymbalta medication. Unfortunately the hospital sent me home with the med but my new doctor wouldnt refill it so now its been a month without it and im having really bad thoughts again that ive started taking bad actions cuttting. I may end up spending a couple weeks in the hospital again if it goes to deeply one of these times. The mental health system puts on a great show, but in reality you have to learn to try to change on your own. My budget has no gas money in it so im basically screwed as far as therapy so i can get that med back. Try to not try to hard because it makes it worse. Take good care of that kind person looking back at you in the mirror because she is the only one you can relay on. Tc
@humorousDay8793 yikes
it's not good to be without your medication, really hope you get back on it soon and why wouldn't the doctor refill it? I've been without it before was a really hard time for me, hang in there! you got this!
