hi, my friend recommended this app to me and i finally decided to give it a try. i'm a freshman in college and for the past month i've been having a depressive episode (i think). its the most mentally exhausting thing i've ever experienced and i'm trying to push thought because i have finals this week but it's really hard. there are days where i can't even force myself to get out of bed and brush my teeth. i can't really talk to my family because of their stigma about mental health and i can't afford therapy right now. i don't know why this is happening to me. maybe it was a trigger but i can't define what might've triggered me. i have PTSD but this is nothing like anything i've ever been through. at first i thought it was a slump, but it progressively gets worse and worse. i don't know what to do to make it stop. i have no motivation, no enjoyment of life, no energy. i'm just really really tired of everything. can anyone help me please?

Here are generic strategies perhaps worth considering..
for anyone with depression concerns...

Some top things to do are perhaps...

4) NUTRITION - eat healthy every day (get all needed nutrients... eat balanced diet of healthy foods, replace bad foods)
5) HYDRATION - stay hydrated throughout the day by drinking sips of water often, starting early and ending late
6) SLEEP - get 7-8 hrs of actual sleep time daily on an identical sleep/wake-up time schedule each day of the week
7) STAY BUSY DOING USEFUL THINGS IN REAL LIFE - avoid excessive time just thinking or not being productive
8) REACH OUT AND GET HELP AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS - get effective help and social support and talk-time
