Dyslexia
Hey Everyone, I'm a little know two this. I wanted to share my story and I have dyslexia. I was diagnosed in the third grade. I didn't realize what it was until I went to middle school. And how I would get treated differently like getting my test read and going to a different room. That was one thing I hear from school was I had dyslexia a lot of people would make fun of me and Bully me because I didn't know how to read. So when I got to high school I would hide it from my friends because I was scared they didn't want to be friends with me.
Some days I have my ups and downs and I wish I didn't have dyslexia I know it's not a bad thing sometimes it just gets tiring having it. Where you can't read something because the colors mess with your eyes and stuff. I don't like the color red and I don't like the color yellow it's very hard to read when it moves around letters and stuff. My parents weren't really the best I would take me to doctors to try to fix me or just to put me on ADHD pills. I would never take I would throw them away and School.
I don't know I feel like I'm in my feelings right now though that's how I feel

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you have been struggling with dyslexia since you were young and that you were treated differently by others. It's understandable that it can be frustrating to have to deal with the challenges that come with dyslexia, like difficulty reading certain colours.
It's okay to feel in your feelings and have ups and downs. Dealing with dyslexia can be tough, but it's important to focus on your strengths and accomplishments. It's great that you were able to make it to high school and have friends, even if you felt the need to hide your dyslexia.
If you feel like you need support, there are resources available that can help you manage your dyslexia and improve your reading skills. Additionally, talking to a counsellor or therapist could help you work through some of the negative experiences you've had and find ways to cope with any lingering emotions ❤️
