How would you deal with loss?

May: on December 03, 2016 I lost my grandmother, she had a lot of medical issues. I'm glad she's not suffering, but it's still sad. I'm back. I just want to know how you guys would deal with loss.

Loss is a hard topic to talk about, almost as difficult as it is to have a light-heart discussion about suicide, if not more difficult. Coping mechanisms vary from person to person, so there's no "wrong" or "right" way to cope or handle this. I'm sure we've all heard of the 5 stages of grief but I do dislike them because they seem so "formatted." Pssst, in case you don't know they're denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. We can determine from there what they mean :) Although like I mentioned that there's not a correct or incorrect way, being sure to practice self care is vital in this process and trying to not mess up your daily routine so it won't harm you emotionally. Just like self harm, if you don't practice self care (and do the opposite) it'll be a small problem turning into larger one's down the road. I probably didn't help too much but just a simple Google search regarding this will reveal great ways to help :) This is my perspective though and I'm sure there's some others that agree. I'll try to find some resources, but above all I hope you feel better!
