Chronic Auto immune with OCF/Depression
Hey, I'm a newbie to this. I don't usually "spill" my problems to strangers but I've come to the conclusion my friends and families don't really understand or are tired of hearing about how I am feeling. Not to say they don't care, I just get the feeling I can be a little much sometimes.
So anyways that's I why came here. The long and the short of it is I have a chronic autoimmune/kidney disease that teamed with the side effects of meds cause me to have heightened depressed and irritated/frustrated feelings at times throughout the day. I go into these kind of "ranty" modes, usually by text to family and friends. It helps to get it off my chest and not feel alone with these feelings. But even though it sometimes makes me feel better to unload, usually I just end up feel misunderstood or ignored and alone.
I don't know if this is the right place for this stuff or if I even should let on about my issues in my life (part of me feels like my rants are just making things worse) but I thought I would give it a try. Any thoughts/feedback?

It can be challenging to have a family that does not really "get it." I think this a great place to vent and get some support; I am glad you came. I have times when I feel grumpy, I have chronic pain and fatigue, and I like the saying, "It is okay not to be okay".
I hope that you get to know us here and find the support you need. Feel free to private message me if you want to chat. I am sharing a link to the community calendar with all the discussions and times you may enjoy participating in. https://www.7cups.com/home/communityCalendar.php
We also have a group chat support room, It has been empty a lot over the summer, but we are there off and on. https://www.7cups.com/listener/connect/conversation.php?c=l2dqdneWkeJO45hlWISS
