Living with Endometriosis
I feel like endometriosis is taking over my life. I've been suffering with this for 2 years and the last 9 months have been the worst. Ive been off sick from work for 3 months and I just found out today that I'm now being made redundant.
I have no social life, which means i have no relationship with my friends anymore. I'm single, still living at home with my parents at 27. But life with this illness means that I can't fix any aspect of my life right now whilst I'm stuck in bed all day.
And the constant stabbing pain and contractions I feel on a regular basis means that I actually don't want to do anything but curl up in bed with a hot water bottle and sleep. I am not very useless dosed up on painkillers either.
I actually don't know how to live and cope with this. I don't know how people with worse conditions cope like this.
@Cherryma how have you been doing lately with dealing with your endometriosis? I too live with endo, and know that pain you describe. I was diagnosed with endo 13 years ago, when I was away at college, after years and years of living with the extreme pain of it beforehand. It's a pain that is not visible to others, so at times people don't understand or really get the degree to which you are suffering with pain, just as with so many other invisible illnesses. It gets my goat when people say..."oh yeah, I get really bad cramps too" Like no 
that is not at all what I'm experiencing.
Anyway, I hope you've been able to find some relief since you posted this in December of last year. Do you have a doctor that follows you, and keeps an eye on cyst growth as well as helps you with pain management? I hope you are getting the support you need, through doctors, family, friends and anyone else in your life.
