I think it is a rarely-researched upon condition and wished it would gain more recogniion in the psychiatric world

Its actually not thought to be a psychiatric disorder, but a neurological disorder like hyperacusis.

As a person who struggles with this, I do wish it would gain more recognition, but not necessarily by the Psychiatric world of medicine. I would like it to be recognized as a true condition, and more studies and test to be carried out. the discovery is still very new, and very little is actually known about it.

PLEASE HELP!!! I can't leave my room without screaming because of certain noises. I wear headphones everywhere and I hate it!!!
