Not sure if this is in the correct category, but oh well.

I've been suffering (not sure if that's an over exaggeration) with PGAD for almost 4 months. I'd never even heard of the disorder before it started. I'm only 16, and I'm very lost. I've gotten depressed and hopeless. I feel like the arousal will never go away, and that scares me to tears. Since this happened I've been put on Xanax, Lexapro and Seroquel by my doctor. None of it has helped. My doctor, therapist, friends, and family all think it's in my head (I have OCD and GAD). I just feel like there's no hope and need some helpful words and advice. Thank you!

People who know about or have experience with PGAD would be very helpful and comforting to me.

I'm sorry to say I have no personal experience with what you are going through. But I wanted to reach out to you to let you know I care about you, and I'm sure others here at 7 Cups do too. We have your back, and whenever you want to chat, we're here. Let us take some of the anxiety, pain, and pressure off your shoulders.

Much love and wishes for peace to you! <3
