Disability Employment Awareness Month October 2017 !!
Hi everyone! I am glad we can celebrate such an important event together!
Here we can read something about disabled and work opportunities, it would be awesome to know about your own experience or your reflections.

People with disabilities make up an estimated one billion, or 15 per cent, of the world's population. About 80 per cent are of working age. The right of people with disabilities to decent work, however, is frequently denied. People with disabilities, particularly women with disabilities, face enormous attitudinal, physical and informational barriers to equal opportunities in the world of work.
Discrimination stifles opportunities, wasting the human talent needed for economic progress, and accentuates social tensions and inequalities. Combating discrimination is an essential part of promoting decent work. Compared to non-disabled persons, they experience higher rates of unemployment and economic inactivity and are at greater risk of insufficient social protection that is a key to reducing extreme poverty.
*What could be usefu to have?
For sure a good plan, actuable in every country: it should consist of a series of technical and supportive tools that enable people with disabilities to be adequately assessed in their work skills and to fit them into the right place, through job analyzes, forms of support, positive actions and solutions of problems related to environments, tools, and interpersonal relationships in daily work and relationship areas. The competent offices should provide that, in connection with the social, health, educational and training services of the territory, according to the specific competencies assigned to them. They should work for a good planning, implementation, verification of the interventions aimed at promoting the insertion of subjects, the organization of work, the keeping of lists, the granting of authorizations, exemptions and territorial compensation, for the purpose of determining a program aimed at achieving employment objectives .

I dont know if I am able to do this for this I really need to be at a good position like that of BillGates,
I want to make a website from where people of all countries who are specially abled get employment surely and the infrastructres for their job is made according to their needs and also jobs are based on what they can do not on what they can't do and no single person is rejected.
That is my dream ! I hope I can fulfill my dream

@BeyondTheInvisible, yes, I hope ,hope one should never lose. We care about others but rejecting people only on the basis of disability is really bad. Right now,what we can do is to accept the hardworking people irrespective of their disability. They have the right to education,to live,to have jobs

@BeyondTheInvisible A lot of people with disabilities get discouraged b/c of the public, but then again, I have seen people use their disability as an advantage NOT to work. To those who are discouraged and/or embarassed - don't be. From personal experience, I have a mild version of epilepsy, but I never let that get in my way of working. Now I am 32, married, and have an auto shop w/my husband. My little brother has autism, ADHD, and bi polar since birth and he never let that get in his way either. He has a very hard time concentrating b/c of the ADHD and autism, so he is currently a cook. Doing the same thing all day would never work for him! lol So .. don't worry what other people think! You are you and we are all unique. Everyone has their own special skill. I'm a female transmission rebuilder .. I have met a female mechanic, but she didn't know how to fix transmissions. All of you know how to do something that no one else can. Use it as a job trade or go to school. I don't like to hear about people w/disabilities being discouraged to work like they are some aliens!

Yes it is sad to see that not to everyone is given the same opportunity and social contexts can make the difference too.
Also disabilities are not all the same, in certain cases they need proper structure to have access to the work-place. I would hope for a world in which this is not denied.
