@aquaCake7578 hi my name is Katie and I too have a learning disability and an iep. I was in smaller 15:1 classes and regular classes when I was in 7-8th grade I was also in reading lab and then when I was in 9th grade I was in all 15:1 expect for band, Spanish and gym I was also in reading lab. Then 10th grade I was in split 15:1 and regular classes I was also in reading lab but I didn't need to be in it in 10th grade and then 11th grade I was in all regular classes I was also in resource which I didn't like and then 12th grade I was still in all regular classes. I was also in band and Spanish from 7-12th even though people said I shouldn't be. I would get my tests read, extra time on tests and a separate location. I also had special seating until part of 11th grade heading into 12th grade. I was also vision impaired when I was in elementary school to 9th grade. I had two vision threapists one was amazing and her name was Dawn and one wasn't so nice and her name was Pam. Dawn was my vision threapist from elementary school to 7th grade and Pam was my vision threapist from 8th to 9th grade she wasn't nice because she wasn't listening and got mad at me for certain things. She was always pulling me out of reading lab which made me fall behind and it was so annoying. Feel free to ask me questions and I'm here to help and share my story . Don't let anyone tell you you can't do something. You might have to work harder but you can accomplish your goals.
