Hi everyone!!

The year is about to end :

1. What have you experienced this year that has been remarkable?

2. What are your goals for the new year?

3. Is there something you would like to achieve but still undecided if it is something you want to focus in?

4. What are the positive things that happened this year?

5. What are the negative things that happened this year?

Wish you all an awesome 2018!

1. What have you experienced this year that has been remarkable? A 2 week period where I had almost no symptoms at all, and I was happy.

2. What are your goals for the new year? Reconditioning and fewer medications are my only goals. Not sure if I can achieve them

3. Is there something you would like to achieve but still undecided if it is something you want to focus in? Yes, but I don't want to name it.

4. What are the positive things that happened this year? I got my puppy, and he's going to be my service dog. What else can I ask for?

5. What are the negative things that happened this year? Except for a two week stretch, this year has been the worst year for me physically. More meds, more symptoms, more doctors.

@TCo

Hi @TCo, I am glad to read you!

How are you? hope the weekend will be a good one !

This year has been so so..not so good.. let's see if the new year will be a better one, you are keeping going on and facing everything, so can we say that the positive part is that you can be really proud of yourself? wink

I wish you that your physical condition will get better and that you will achieve your plans and goals!!

@TCo So sorry to hear that you've had a rough year symptom-wise. Chronic illness is not an easy journey and can be exhausting and downright disheartening at times. Hopefully next year will be better and you'll get more periods of respite and happiness.

That's awesome that you got a puppy. It'll be lovely to watch him grow up over the next year. Hopefully he doesn't chew up everything in your house lol

Wishing you all the best in the new year heart

Hello everyone! Just changing the order of the questions, don't mind me.

5. What are the negative things that happened this year? I've been experiencing so much discrimination, especially from my own family. And I've been overwhelmed very often because of homework. Neither of those is gonna stop next year. Maybe in 2019 or 2020 they will...

4. What are the positive things that happened this year? I've been trying to build the habits of meditating and working out and I've noticed the results!! And I've also gotten to know my classmates better. Spent more time with them. Even went to a party with them (I had never done that before).

1. What have you experienced this year that has been remarkable? I've been to Andorra and oh gods. The mountains are so beautiful. I've never been more inspired, never felt better, than in the middle of these mountains. I love them. Let me live there

2. What are your goals for the new year? I want to get better at speaking Italian, learn some German, draw, write, meditate, work out, and learn how to paint.

3. Is there something you would like to achieve but still undecided if it is something you want to focus on? There are so many project ideas I get out of the blue all the time and that I could work on, but most of them are really time consuming. I don't know which ones I'll actually get to or not yet.

Wishing you all a great 2018!!

@archerzvy

Hi @archerzvy !

How many positive things you experienced and nice goals you are trying to focus in!

The year had also some negative things going on but can we say the the positive ones are so nice ad fulfilling that they can lessen a bit the impact of the negative ones? wink

Hope so!

Best wishes for a wonderful 2018!

Thanks for sharing!

@BeyondTheInvisible

1. What have you experienced this year that has been remarkable? I took on a leadership role in my volunteer job and took over the management of the group's social media feed, got some compliments from important people, made amends with 3 exes of mine, got a part-time nannying job, went back to school for the first time in six years.

2. What are your goals for the new year? Working towards the qualifications for the social work program at my school, getting together a good self-care and coping routine for my chronic illness, signing up for a research study on a new PTSD treatment, improving my writing and research skills, getting a mental health first aid and crisis intervention certificate, selling some vintage toys and records at flea markets, doing more volunteer work.

3. Is there something you would like to achieve but still undecided if it is something you want to focus in? A 7 cups internship, volunteering at my community's new supervised injection site, learning how to DJ with vinyl records, getting advanced first aid certification, doing a go fund me campaign to help finance a pricey treatment for my illness.

4. What are the positive things that happened this year? Lots of community events, challenged some fears and negative beliefs, started my business selling vintage and antique toys and records, started listening and being involved in the 7 cups community after about a year's hiatus.

4.5. Added this one in for things that are both positive and negative: Got a diagnosis, the last real underground rave in my town.

5. What are the negative things that happened this year? Partially lost my mobility, went through a few periods of depression and isolation, made some financial mistakes, didn't get a good grade on a critical class, missed out on many gatherings and events due to chronic fatigue.
