Hey @agreeableSouth2362, thank you for sharing this. It sounds like you've been dealing with so much for such a long time, and I'm really sorry you're going through all of this at 18.

Finding our you've had functional seizures since you were little, on top of the heart condition, migraines and PTSD, is a lot for anyone to carry. It makes complete sense that you're feeling overwhelmed and unsure what to do next.

I can hear how painful it must have been when people didn't listen to you. Being laughed at or brushed off when you're struggling is hurtful and it can make you feel invisible even when something serious is happening. I'm really glad you had your dad, brothers, grandma, step-mom and step-grandma who believe you, but it still sounds like a lot of people only started paying attention once things got worse. That's not on you, and you did try to speak up, they just weren't hearing you.

It makes sense that you don't know what to do now. You've had all these health issues building up, you've been trying to cope on your own, and now everyone is reacting at once. That's a lot of pressure, especially when you're already dealing with fear, frustrations and exhaustion.

Are you getting support from doctors or nurses now that you have a clearer diagnosis? Having medical professionals involved can make a huge difference, especially when you're dealing with multiple health conditions at once. It may help take the pressure off you and give you more stability while everything feels so chaotic.

You're not alone here, and you're welcome to talk through any part of this.

If you need further support, please do reach out to a listener to provide some 1:1 support or continue to post on the forums.

Sending you all the best wishes💜
