Disability Payments since 2018
I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2017 and was admitted involuntarily to several psyche wards that year.
i work part time and go to school. I am hoping after I graduate, I will find a good full time job and not depend on disability anymore.
I am grateful for my disability payments. They really help me out a lot and give me peace of mind, but I do wish I could get more out of it so I don’t have to work. It’s just not enough, but it does help.

It really seems unfair that society doesn't do more to provide enough financial support for those with mental health issues. It's not like you don't want to contribute to society - clearly you do. And it's good you are grateful for what you do have. But sometimes you just need more financial support than is given in order to not have the added stress of worrying about money, and then having to work when you aren't actually well enough to do so. Because in the end this makes it harder to get to a place where you don't need the support anymore.
Anyway, I don't know if this reply is much help, but I just want you to know that I can empathize with your predicament, and I am wishing you will for the future.
Being disabled is hard because you can't do a lot of what other people do. But it is also not a reason to give up or get depressed. We live in such a time that they can always help and advise you. You can also hire lawyers for social security disability and try to get a large amount. I advise you to ask them for more information.
Hi, my name is Sandi, I am 41 years old and i am full time electric wheelchair user. I have got caregiver who helps me by tasks which demand hand dexterity, use of legs and muscle strength. I wish to go on disability too as my doctor said that i need to rest a lot and that resting would be better for me than to work. There are such benefits in my country, but i sense that i will become more lonely when i won't work anymore as people around me (friends, my older brother and his wife) will be at work when i will be at home. I work for 4 hours per day and i find working hard and exhausting.
