I'm mute, meaning I can't speak. I think this is the reason I'm alone. I can't socialise with most people, so most people don't bother or try to make me feel miserable. I don't want to be alone. I want friends and family like everyone else. But this just makes it harder.

If people don't want to be friends with you because you're a mute, then thats their problem. People who genuinely like someone regardless of who that person is, are some of the most valuable friends out there. Unfortunately they are hard to find. However you don't need a voice to express yourself to people, I have trouble speaking to people and I struggle to make friend sometimes, but it's not because I don't speak to them. The real reason I struggle making friends is because I distance myself from them due to my lack of confidence. Without expressing myself though art, people wouldn't get to know me at all. Only my dearest friends are willing to make our friendship work. Trust me all you need is to find good friends a show them who you are as a person, if they like you for who you are then they will hear you from the heart, not the ears. Good luck.

i have battled severe stutter my hole life, at times had to resort pen and paper to get messages across to people, i really understand the frustration of not being able to comunicate, not wanting to even try to. when i forced myself to try and comunicate with peopleI found that more people where willing to put in some extra effort to hear me outthan i had ever realized.Atthe same time some people are justimpacient/ignorant idiots, there nothing you do about them andive learned to ignore them.
