Hi I'm lost as to how to say this or how to ask for help. I have several disabilitys from pain to mental. I was a resorce student is in school and I don't remember what my actual learning and memory disability is. My mom was the only one who knew and she passed away.

My problem is I have lots of memory loss. I cannot remember simple things such as peoples names, what was said in a conversation, what someone looks like, and things like that.

I have been going thru out life with this disability. But it seems like the closer to get to people the more offended they get at me. I try to tell people I have a problem with memory and mostly everyone takes some kinda offensive look or says something I see how it is you won't remember me so have a nice life. How am I supposed to tell people I don't mean any offence but I my not remember what has happened or your name and be nice about it?

It seems like the older I get the worce this is happening. It seems I cannot even make a friend now a days.

@squrley

i have problem with remembering peoples names and details and its a huge social handicap. so much so, i have social anxiety. not sure to be honest what was first. not sure what to offer you. you do a good job explaining preemptively your handicap already. have you tried Ginkgo supplement? its superposed to help with memory. i'm trying it now and maybe its making my depression not as bad. another supplement i tried is piracetam. OTC in some countries and prescription in some others.
