Any CRPS-Fighters around?
Hi everyone! Im Lou!
Since one year now, I suffer from CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrom) in arms (including fingers, wrists, elbows and shoulders), chest and back. It all started after I tore a muscle in my right elbow. I would be happy to talk with someone who goes through similar things and maybe I can help you feel better aswell... Wanna chat?
Greatings, Lou
@BurningArmour i don't know if it fits CPRS but i jad an episode with an accident that affected my ulnar nerve and the nerve intersection in my left arm wrist...my left arm was temporarilly paralised for more than 14 month, had to teach myself tricks how to live without my left arm but still paradixically had constant pain in it meaning : i could not move it but had constant pain. Now i regained 90% of my mobility but my last two fingers are still "numb", though i can use them, i cannot sor of feel them...and they hurt...it is hard to explain...
I am sorry your affected area is so wildly spread and I can only try to imagine. My chondrosarcoma cancer makes my axial joints hurt worse than arthritis. 😔😔😔😔
@lazyKatz
@BurningArmour sorry CRPS, I have to familiarise with the term...😔😔😔
@DonneMoi
Hi! Well, that doesn
@BurningArmour Mobility wise i adapted very quickly...i used plyers to open pet bottle caps...I could easily swim with one hand...the tricky part was to tie my shoes or cut my fingernails at my other hand...or washmy right side (a brush is handy), i used my foot to press down on the nail clipper to clip my right hand nails.
The bad part was the pain...even if my hand was paralysed, it hurt continuously, not ever letting go or down, just continuous anoying pain...painkillers or creams never helped so I had to learn how to deal with and embrace the constant pain...
yes me im suffering with rsd/CRPS
