I'm just so tired.
I've been battling depression and anxiety along with finally after three and a half years getting diagnosed with Fibro. And I've gotten over the worst of the depression, and every time I have a day where I stumble I'm just so utterly exhausted by it.
I feel like I can't stand it anymore. I feel like I'm never going to be able to stop fighting, and if it's always going to be a hard fight, I don't want to keep trying. I'm too tired to fight forever, I'm in too much pain both physically and emotionally to keep fighting forever.
Hi my name is Cristina I have been dealing with anxiety and depression and insomnia for many years I have went through childhood abuse and molested at the age of 12 my siblings don't want a hangout or go into public places with me to ashamed of me cause the way I look I was born down syndrome and hurts when your family is ashamed of you I have sleepless nights where I am just tired cause of my insomnia I am tired anyways of everything I am going through
My little brother is bi polar, autism, ADHD, and mild mental retardation .. he never let's that hold him back. He may have the mentality of a 17 year old and he's really 28, but he's a good guy. He goes to a special needs school during the day, and works as a dishwasher from 4-8 pm. DON'T EVER let that stuff hold you back. I've hidden behind a pretty face for over 20 years and hurt deeply on the inside. True beauty is on the inside to begin with. Remember that. And do w/e dreams you have .. Accomplishment is the best feeling ever!
I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering so much. Depression is truly exhausting. Having something like Fibromyalgia on top of it is probably the last straw. But don't forget all the worst times that you've gotten through. It's a given that there'llbe too much mental exhaustion after so much suffering. But you're fighting it. You're still going on even if you don't feel like it.
This is a battle nobody chooses. Nobody. I'm fighting through it. There are days when I feel like I won't live through or that I want to give up. But then I remember that I still have good days and I'm still alive. While that doesn't make me feel better in the slightest, it does keep me away from giving up.
You are so strong. You may not believe that you're strong, but you are. All that you're going through is proof enough. Being strong doesn't essentially mean being able to defeat something, but I think it means being able to keep going on when things seem impossible. You've done that.
I know you're tired and that you've reached a point where you just want to throw everything away. But if you can come this far, you have it in you to move a little futher. And nobody knows if this will be forever. Three and a half years is an incredibly long time, but it doesn't account for forever. Yes, it might seem like forever, but it isn't.
You can do this.
It's your mind feeding the negative talk to you. It doesn't have to be true. Depression not only makes you think negative internally, but it also closes your mind to the positive that's out there.
I sincerely do hope that you feel better very, very soon. And if you should have bad days, you can always come up here. We are all cheering on you. :)
Take care! <3
