Hey! I'm Dom and I'm a left leg amputee. :) its below the knee.. but I still have my knee cap. its pretty cool.
I've been an amputee since I was 1 . Its all i've ever known. My mom keeps my first prosthetic as a pencil holder at work. -eye roll -
Because i've been born with it i dont have too much grief with it. Its a part of who i am. but i get the lonliness sometimes. Its kind of hard to connect with everyone. But! I'm here and , fun fact, I'm a listener! If any other amputees need an ear to listen feel free to hit me up!
Hi, I know this is an old thread but just seeing if there are any current amputee users? I had a left forequarter amputation which involves the removal of the arm, shoulder, shoulder blade and collar bone. Im in my 30s, two years post op.
Hi! I am a 60 year old, male LBKA (left leg below knee amputee) as of 2019 due to a MRSA infection. I've had alot of issues with wounds not healing, re-infection, and a revision surgery. But, I am dealing well with that part of it! I have other non-physical problems with my wife's attitude towards me and my disability.
