@humorousWater1013 - hi there! I can definitely relate to this as when I was struggling with my eating disorder, despite being quite sick, my BMI officially declared me healthy. I could go into a VERY long rant about all the reasons BMI is a deeply flawed metric that is being misused as a health measure when that's not what it was even designed for...but instead let me just say that you are not alone in feeling this way, that your eating disorder is no less serious because of your BMI, and that your need for support is valid.

One thing that helped me a bit was to think of it applied to someone besides me, since I think it's often easier to think rationally about others than ourselves. If someone you loved - a sibling, a friend, etc. - was using the ED behaviors that you are, would you think it was a problem? Would it matter what their weight was if they were doing things that were unhealthy? Would you think their struggles or their need for help were any less valid if the weighed a few pounds more? The same is true of you - health isn't defined solely (or even mostly) by weight and support is important for everyone.

As a side note - I removed the BMI specific numbers as we try to avoid weight/calorie/etc. specifics in the forums to avoid triggering others Slightly smiling
