Eating disorder recovery

Hey everyone! Just wanted to do an update as many may know last week and the week before I did restrictive eating and I would obsess about my weight. But now I have stepped away from the scale and calorie counting apps and am starting to eat the foods that I want to eat Instead of eating foods that I think would make me thin. And I haven’t been skipping meals or drinking coffee to make me feel full. Just want to be healthy now instead of wanting to be thin. Drop comments below because it would be interesting to know if anyone else feels the same way as me and I want to hear about your eating disorder recovery stories.

@Clairebear233 I don't have any stories to share, but I am proud of you! I wish you all the best with your recovery, it may be really rough sometimes but that doesn't mean you aren't trying your hardest ❤️

@finleytews yes at first it was hard but now it’s getting easier and I’m finally starting to accept my body for what it is.

I have been battling with it for 5 years. Finally with the help of family, friends and doctors, I'm now on my way to recover, Been eating proper now for the past 2 months. Yes, it's difficult at the beginning bit but once I started to gain back my strength and health, all is worth it. All the best to you too!
