Is this really anorexia?
I'm not diagnosed but I know that I have issues with food. I made a lot of test and every single one said that maybe I have an eating disorder but I can't be sure
Maybe I'm overreacting?
@Pully3
I think the super important part is that it causes to to think you might have a problem. Even if your struggle isn't as bad or as serious as like some of the more extreme cases, your struggle is still valid and important!!! I think it's awesome that you are noticing you might be meeting criteria for having an eating disorder. Admitting the struggle is an important step. Is it possible for you to reach out to a trained professional to see if you can be diagnosed and get the counseling you deserve? Even without a diagnosis it's important to get to the cause of what leads you to do certain eating disorders behaviors. Super proud of you for reaching out for support here and super proud of you for talking about your struggle! *sending you some extra support* <3<3<3

I battled with food for many many years (and kept it as hidden and secret as possible). I was never anorexic, but I definitely had an eating disorder. The way I used to explain it to myself in my head was, "maybe I don't have a diagnosed eating disorder, with a name, but I definitely have disordered eating." It took me forever to get over it on my own, without help, and I wish that I had sought out some support.
What's so important and great for you is that you are already starting to question if you might have a problem... that's a great start. And it seems like you have friends who watch out for you and care about you, so you have a little support right off the bat.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it doesn't really matter if you have or ever get an official diagnosis with a name like anorexia; you can have a dangerous eating disorder (or 'disordered eating') anyway. The struggle only gets worse if you don't take advantage of the supports in your life and maybe even professional help. I hope that you do this; I wouldn't wish the torture that I went through when I was struggling on you or anyone else, ever.

Sorry, I read your original post wrong... I thought you had said that our friends were telling you they thought you had an eating disorder, not that you were taking tests. Either way, it's GREAT that you are thinking about it and great that you reached out. Please seek out some help if you think it's really becoming a problem.

Thank you so much for your support;;;;; I needed this a lot!
It's so weird that many people worry about me without even knowing me but it feels so good♡
I could even say that I'm proud of myself for having taken this first step and that makes me feel so strong!
Thank you again!♡
@Pully3 - Woohoo! I love to see you be proud of taking that step! I think sometimes we don't give ourselves enough credit for the steps we do take, but you absolutely deserve it - recognizing a problem and reaching out for support are big steps and important ones on the path to recovery!
