What to tell when you're not eating?

I don't have anorexia nervosa(yay!) but I had it and I'm still recovering from it a bit and it's still hard, and depression is also taking away my appetite and I'm not sure what to say to my family when I'm not eating. Some tips ? thanks!

@FuturePsychologist2 - I personally think the truth is a good way to go in most situations. You can explain that it is coming from a different place, but also that you might need some extra support as you're struggling with this and that you are aware that it's dangerous with a history of an eating disorder to drastically change your diet, even if it's for other reasons. How do you want them to support you?

i don't want them to know.. but thanks for the support. i never tell them my diagnosis and such because i know they'd freak out.. so that's why i'm asking
