Hi, I just found this group because I couldn't find anyone or anything else to turn to. I have suffered from BED since I was 14 and I'm now 18. It is horrible and makes me feel like I have no control over myself or my own body. I have constantly either lost weight or gained. I'm not big but this year I went from [edited by Anomalia for weight specifics] to [edited] pounds because I excerised and restricted foods and had a personal trainer. I thought my life was on track until I relapsed. For the past month I have binged everyday and even my trainer noticed I have gained weight. I feel like I'll never be normal and be in a healthy weight. I don't want anything in life but to eat like a normal person. It's so embarssing to be with my friends since they don't eat as much as me. I am not even scared to weigh my self and I MY clothes are getting tighter. I honestly don't know what to do anymore because I just want to be healthy and happy.

Hello there. First I want to acknowledge that you have a lot of courage posting this here. Thank you for sharing your story. I am sorry to hear that you're struggling with this disorder. Binge eating disorder can be very detrimental to a person's mental health. Have you ever been diagnosed with anxiety or depression?

A doctor in these cases could be a lot of help. Especially just a therapist. With eating disorders, a lot of times a person has either depression, anxiety, or both. But you could never know this unless you see a doctor first. How do you feel about doctors?
