Nice to meet you everyone, I feel really stressed recently like most of you probably and COVID situation is not helping. People feel more frustrated staying home, I did lot of diets in my life and my weight go up and down constantly, as my emotions goes. I feel to look bad and I feel obese even when I am not now. I feel sad and I eat, my diets never work in the end so I started to think my problem wasn’t coming maybe from my body, but is all inside my head. If you have my same problems, if you found a solution please text me, maybe you can help me too.

Hello East, thanks for posting this thread - as I've been struggling with binge-eating too. I'm currently working on it with the book Stop Eating Your Heart Out by Meryl Hershey, and it has helped me a lot. I've started a food diary to log my meals in, with descriptions of how I felt eating them, as well as descriptions of events (if any) that trigger any specific food preference: I tend to reach out for sweet food when I feel anxious before a Zoom call.

Hi, thanks for your answer, I recently bought the book overcoming binge eating, thanks for the advice about that book, I am giving a look right now. I am finding so difficult to find a solution about my problems, take time and patience. I understand what you mean about sweets, I just did the same actually. Still I am in a bad place, hopefully is going better for both.

How have you been, creativeEast3618? Yes, even with the help of books, habits die hard or at least we continue to try and manage them.
