hello guys, i'm new here

i"m dealing with never ending binge cycles, i literally can't stop my mouth from being busy chewing. i can't think from anything else my mind goes blank and a monster took my place.

i eat a day what a should eat a week, i have pcos, social anxiety and bad body image.

i use binge as a coping mechanism for emotional distress.

sometimes i feel like i want to destroy myself by eating this amount like a self harm tool bc i keep gaining weight and binging on sugar and junk food i'll have a lot of health issues like diabetes, infertility, heart diseases, cancers, etc

AND I WAN'T

i understand you 100% and then i’ll go a few days without eating because i feel bad, i have no idea what to do either. it’s a never ending cycle of binging and then starving myself. 😔

It is hard for those without eating disorders to understand I suppose ......

i do not have this issue, although i could see it happening, i have used food to cope ........and ate when mad or bored often but i have worked hard on my moods and try to identify when i will feel like eating for no reason...... me eating is not doing anything about the person or situation i am angry with...

i am sincere in asking what benefit does a person get when binging ? i mean in case of abuse of alcohol i can see being numb but food has never done that for me

it is uncomfortable when full ........... and often creates more long term damage like the OP listed ...

Seems like it is only hurting/ punishing .......The person ........so what does a person get out of it?

I am very curious to understand any reason or rationalization for this......

i found as i like / love myself more .........and do good things for myself ...... i cannot imagine punishing myself or creating further long term stresses and issues for myself.

Hey I’m new here

For as long as I have known I have been struggling with depression but it’s feels like it’s becoming worst now that almost everyone has given up on me

I have been thinking about self harming myself lately

I have the same problem. Last time i went grocery's shopping and i finished all the snacks i bought for the week in a day, even if i felt sick after eating it all.

I googled it several times and to have less cravings, you should eat more protein, eat less spicy, drink less coffeine and drink alot of water. Sometimes this helped me but with the mental health issues it's really difficullt holding up 🥺

I hope this could help u a little
